Teens who participate in the Summer Reading Program will be able to earn small prizes throughout the summer, as well as earn a larger prize at the end of the program.
The Teen Summer Reading Program is recommended for ages 13 and up, however, tweens reading up are welcome to choose to participate in the Teen program instead of the Children’s program.
Teens are encouraged to read at least 5 books throughout the summer. Teens may also write a book review to obtain community service time.
At the end of the 8th week, teens who have completed the program will be entered into a $50 gift certificate drawing.
Throughout the summer, there will be a monthly craft kit available for pickup. 4 family drop-in craft nights will be held on Wednesday evenings at Field Park. Stay tuned for dates and details! Pizza & refreshments will be served!
